Lakewood II Building
Download: Lakewood II Brochure
Lakewood II is a two-story Class “A” office and retail building located in Lakewood, Washington. The location is great for both uses. The site is part of an exciting government focused campus that contains the Lakewood City Hall as well as the Lakewood I building also owned by MJR Development. Directly across the street is the Lakewood Towne Center, a large retail project containing shops, restaurants and many first-class retailers.
The combination of the Lakewood I and II buildings, along with City Hall is an example of a government “co-location”. These types of properties are very valuable to the State since they save money with shared amenities and enable the State to provide a better focused service to the people in that area.
Interesting Project Fact
Lakewood II converted an old grocery store location into a 30,000 sf retail furnature store and 22,000 square feet of Class A office space. We had to raise the roof and add second floor to accomplish this transformation.
